Here is a quick formula that calculates the current date each time you open your spreadsheet.
- Select a cell
- Type the following formula: <Today()
- Press Enter
- Excel Today’s Date Formula
- Now that cell will always display the current date and can be referenced in other formulas
NOTE: you can also use the Now command if you would like to include the time as well: <Now()
